The Address Beach Resort’s amenity gives new meaning to infinity and beyond

Dubai just introduced a stunning new way to make a splash. The Address Beach Resort now boasts the highest outdoor infinity pool in a building, soaring at 964.2 feetโ€”a record officially confirmed by Guinness World Records last month

.Perched on the 77th floor of the hotel, this massive pool stretches about 311 feet long and 54 feet wide, making it nearly double the size of an Olympic-sized pool.

From this breathtaking vantage pointโ€”almost as tall as nine-tenths of the Eiffel Tower, as CNN notesโ€”guests can take in sweeping views of the city, including landmarks like the Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, the World Islands, and another record-holder, the Ain Dubai Ferris wheel, the tallest in the world.

“Weโ€™re truly honored to receive this recognition,” said Mark Kirby of Emaar, the resortโ€™s parent company, in a statement. “This Guinness World Record cements Address Hotels and Resorts as a symbol of luxury and a must-visit destination for travelers.”

This infinity pool isnโ€™t the only one at the resortโ€”thereโ€™s also an adults-only pool, a family pool, and a kidsโ€™ splash pad. While all hotel guests can enjoy the facilities, the infinity pool is reserved for those 21 and older, according to CNN. Right next to it on the 77th floor is Zeta Seventy Seven, an Asian fusion restaurant offering the same jaw-dropping views

But this isnโ€™t the only Guinness World Record the hotel holds. The resort is part of twin 77-story towers, connected from the first to the 13th floors and again by a skybridge stretching from the 63rd to the 77th floorsโ€”earning it the title of the highest occupiable skybridge floor at 965.7 feet.

The Address Beach Resort opened in December 2020 with 217 guest rooms and suites, along with 443 furnished and 478 unfurnished residences.

And hereโ€™s a fun twist: another record-breaking pool is set to open in London later this month. CNN reports that the clear-bottomed oasis, suspended 115 feet in the air at Embassy Gardens, will become the worldโ€™s largest freestanding acrylic pool structure when it debuts on May 19.
