Discover underwater adventure at Deep Dive Dubai.

Ready to take the plunge into the depths? Deep Dive Dubai, the worldโ€™s deepest swimming pool, is calling your nameโ€”just jump right in!

Officially recognized by Guinness World Records, Deep Dive Dubai reaches a staggering depth of 60 meters (around 197 feet) and holds a whopping 14 million liters (about 3.7 million gallons) of water. Thatโ€™s almost six Olympic-sized pools combined!

“Deep Dive Dubai lets adventure lovers dive deep and uncover a whole new underwater world full of excitement and awe,” said Abdulla Bin Habtoor, the spokesperson for Deep Dive Dubai, in a statement after the Guinness certification in 2021. “We deliver a one-of-a-kind experience with year-round diving, top-notch safety, expert instructors, and premium services.”

Nestled in Nad Al Sheba, south of Dubai Creek, the pool is designed like a massive oysterโ€”a tribute to the Persian Gulfโ€™s pearl-diving heritage. Packed with cutting-edge tech for divers, it boasts the regionโ€™s most advanced hyperbaric chamber, a high-tech lighting and sound system to set the mood, and a powerful filtration setup using NASA technology, volcanic rock, and UV rays to refresh the water every six hours.

Inside, youโ€™ll find a mesmerizing “sunken city” complete with “abandoned” apartments, an underwater arcade, submerged cars, musical instruments, and more.

Bin Habtoor added that the Deep Dive Dubai team “aims to honor the spirit of Emirati explorers and innovators, both from history and today, while also creating a space for future breakthroughs and discoveries.”

The pool draws freedivers, scuba divers, and snorkelers of all ages and skill levels. Newbies can try beginner courses in freediving, scuba, or snorkeling, while certified divers can book guided dives to the poolโ€™s deepest points. All essential gear is provided, so no need to lug diving equipment on your flight.

There are also kid-friendly programs and land-based activities like facility tours.
